Zentrix Action Matrix

A quadrant chart that tells you what to do next.

A value-by-risk quadrant for Power BI with a decision panel attached. Plot customers, deals, invoices or suppliers, and they fall into four named action boxes. Click a box and it tells you how many items are in it, how much value is at stake, the warning sign that stands out against the rest of your data, the category over-represented there, and the playbook you wrote for that box — then hands you the list as CSV. Presets name the boxes in your own language: save, maintain, nurture, automate for customers; push to close, rescue, drop, quick win for deals. Everything is computed inside the Power BI sandbox.

Built to surface
what matters

A decision panel, not just a chart

Click a box and read the count, the value at stake, the averages, and the playbook you wrote for it. Drawing a quadrant is the crowded part of this market; saying what to do about the one you clicked is not.

It names the warning sign that stands out

Bind up to eight yes/no measures — payment slipping, support tickets rising, usage falling. For a box it surfaces the sign with the largest gap against all items, and only when it clears the lift and share thresholds you set, so a rare flag can't masquerade as a pattern.

Cut-offs that follow your filters

Fixed, median or average lines, or lines driven by a measure so they move with the report — this quarter's average, a target. Drag them where you want. Beyond 2×2, each axis can take equal bands or your own thresholds, up to a 4×4 grid, with the four action boxes staying anchored on the middle cut.

Ten thousand dots that still read

Above about four thousand items it clusters dots by area instead of painting mush, and says so: 788 dots shown, 9,161 sitting inside them. Flagged, selected, named and keyboard-focused points are never merged away. Labels appear for the points you choose and are dropped rather than stacked on each other.

What moved since last month

Bind last period's value and risk and the box shows its arrows — who moved in, who moved out — measured against today's cut-offs, so a shifting threshold can't fake movement.

Honest about what it left out

A trust strip states rows plotted, rows left off and why, the cut-offs in force and how many dots a rule coloured. Rows without a value or a score are counted and shown, never silently dropped. Chart, table and plain-English insight views, all available to report readers.

Insights that never
leave your tenant

The Action Matrix computes its insights with transparent, deterministic logic — entirely inside the Power BI sandbox. No external calls, no telemetry, nothing leaves your tenant.

  • Where the value sits, and how much is at stake in each box
  • How concentrated value is in the top ten items
  • The warning sign that stands out in a box
  • A category over-represented in a box
  • The biggest movement between boxes since last period
  • How strongly value and risk are related — and a data-readiness score

Runs in the Power BI sandbox

Every insight is computed inside the Power BI visual sandbox. The visual makes no external network calls and sends no telemetry — nothing about your data leaves your tenant.

Free, fast to install, and yours to keep

The core Action Matrix is free — no trial, no watermark, no sign-in. Add it from AppSource once it's live, drop it on your canvas, and you're running. Full setup steps live in the docs.
