A useful bug report includes

  • Visual name and version
  • Power BI Desktop, Service, Embedded, mobile, or Report Server
  • Power BI and browser version where relevant
  • Steps to reproduce and the expected result
  • An anonymized screenshot or minimal sample only if safe to share

Response expectations

We typically acknowledge support requests within one business day. Investigation and resolution time depends on reproducibility, severity, and whether the issue is in the visual or the Power BI host.

Please do not email production PBIX files, credentials, customer data, or other confidential information unless a secure transfer method has been agreed first.

Product and support questions

How do I install a Zentrix visual?

The Calendar Heatmap is live on Microsoft AppSource. In Power BI Desktop or the Power BI service, open Visualizations → “Get more visuals”, search “Zentrix Calendar Heatmap”, and click Add. Do not download packages claiming to be Zentrix visuals from unofficial sources.

Is the Calendar Heatmap Microsoft certified?

Not yet. Certification is a Microsoft review performed after the visual is accepted for AppSource. We will show the certification badge and link only after Microsoft confirms it.

How is report data handled?

Zentrix visuals are designed to process only the data Power BI supplies to them inside the Power BI visual sandbox. They make no external network calls and send no product telemetry. Where a visual offers export, the CSV, PDF, or PNG is generated inside the visual and saved to your own device. Our privacy and security pages describe the current scope in more detail.

What should I include in a bug report?

Include the visual name and version, Power BI Desktop or Service version, browser if applicable, steps to reproduce, expected and actual behavior, and an anonymized screenshot. Share a minimal sample PBIX only when requested and remove confidential or personal data first.

Do you support Power BI Report Server, mobile, and embedded reports?

Compatibility is confirmed per visual and release. Tell us which environment you need during evaluation; we will verify it rather than assuming every Power BI host behaves identically.

Do you provide an SLA?

There is no general public SLA for free or pre-release visuals. Custom projects and future commercial plans may include response and resolution targets in a separate written agreement.

Do you build private or organization-specific visuals?

Yes. We can evaluate private distribution, organization-store deployment, branded visuals, or a public AppSource product depending on your requirements and Microsoft platform constraints.
