Power BI Visual EULA

These terms apply to every Zentrix Studio Power BI custom visual, current and future, unless a specific listing or signed agreement says otherwise. They supplement our Terms of Service. An AppSource listing or signed agreement may specify additional commercial terms.
1. Agreement
This End-User License Agreement applies to Zentrix Studio Power BI custom visuals obtained from Microsoft AppSource or another authorized Zentrix distribution channel. By installing or using a visual, you accept these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms for that organization.
2. License grant
Subject to these terms and any applicable marketplace plan, Zentrix Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the visual with Microsoft Power BI for your internal business purposes.
3. Restrictions
You may not sell, sublicense, rent, distribute through an unauthorized channel, remove notices, circumvent licensing controls, use the visual unlawfully, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits and cannot be waived.
4. Ownership
The visual is licensed, not sold. Zentrix Studio and its licensors retain all rights in the software, design, documentation, trademarks, updates, and derivative works except for rights expressly granted here.
5. Free, preview, and paid features
A release may contain free, preview, trial, or paid capabilities. Current entitlements are described in the authorized listing or written plan. Preview features may change or be withdrawn. Existing free functionality will not be described as paid without clear advance disclosure and compliance with marketplace rules.
6. Data and privacy
Zentrix Studio Power BI custom visuals are designed to process report data inside the Power BI custom visual sandbox, without external network calls or product telemetry. Some visuals can export the content you are viewing to a local file, such as CSV, PDF, or PNG; those files are produced inside the visual and saved to your own device, and the exported content is not sent to Zentrix Studio. Data handling is described in the privacy and security pages, which form part of this agreement. If a future visual requires a connected service, its marketplace listing and product notice will describe that behavior before release.
7. Updates and platform dependency
Updates may add, change, or remove functionality to maintain security, compatibility, or product quality. The visual depends on Microsoft Power BI and related services; Zentrix Studio does not control changes or availability of those platforms.
8. Support
Support is provided according to the public support page or the commercial plan that applies to you. Free and preview releases do not include a service-level agreement unless stated in writing.
9. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, free and preview visuals are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zentrix Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Aggregate liability for a paid license is limited to fees paid for the affected visual during the twelve months before the claim; liability for a free visual is limited to the minimum amount permitted by law.
11. Termination
This license ends if you materially breach these terms. On termination, stop using and remove unauthorized copies of the visual. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and other terms that should logically survive will continue.
