Getting started with Zentrix visuals
Install in seconds, bind two fields, and you're running. Below is everything you need to add the Calendar Heatmap to a report and understand how it handles your data.
Install in 4 steps
From AppSource to your canvas
Install from AppSource
In Power BI Desktop or the Power BI service, open a report, go to the Visualizations pane, choose “Get more visuals,” and search for “Zentrix Calendar Heatmap” on Microsoft AppSource. Click Add — the visual appears in your Visualizations pane. (The listing goes live once the visual is certified; until then, follow the build for early access.)
Add it to your canvas
Select the Zentrix Calendar Heatmap from the Visualizations pane to drop an empty instance onto your report canvas, then resize it to give the full-year grid room to breathe.
Bind your fields
Drag a date field into the date well and a daily measure (count, sum, or average) into the values well. The visual lays out a 53-week grid and colors each day by intensity automatically.
Format & read the insights
Use the Format pane to pick a palette, set thresholds, and match your theme. The built-in insight engine surfaces streaks, weekday rhythm, anomalies, and year-over-year — all computed inside the Power BI sandbox.
