Short version: website enquiries are stored so we can respond; Zentrix Power BI visuals do not send your report data to Zentrix Studio.
1. Scope
This policy covers the Zentrix Studio website, contact and support interactions, newsletters, and every Zentrix Power BI custom visual, current and future, distributed through Microsoft AppSource or another authorized Zentrix channel. It separates website data from report data because those systems operate differently.
2. Information you provide
We collect information you choose to submit, such as your name, email address, enquiry category, company or product URL, project details, support correspondence, and newsletter address. Please do not send credentials, production PBIX files, customer records, or sensitive report data through public forms or ordinary email.
3. Website usage data
The website may record technical and usage information needed for security, reliability, and product analytics, such as page visits, interactions, device or browser characteristics, session identifiers, and network information logged by hosting or security providers. Theme and consent preferences may be stored in your browser.
4. How we use information
We use information to answer enquiries, provide support, prepare proposals, operate and secure the website, understand which content is useful, send requested updates, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use Power BI report data for advertising.
5. Power BI custom visual data
Zentrix Power BI custom visuals are designed to process only the report data supplied by Power BI, inside the custom visual sandbox. They do not make external network calls and do not send product telemetry to Zentrix Studio, so we do not receive or store the report data a visual renders. Some visuals let you export what you are viewing to a local file, such as CSV, PDF, or PNG; those files are produced inside the visual and saved directly to your own device, and the exported content is never sent to Zentrix Studio. If a future product requires a connected service, its listing and product-specific notice will describe that behavior before release.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We use infrastructure providers for website hosting, database storage, email delivery, file delivery, and security. They process limited information on our behalf under their own contractual and security commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, support history, contractual records, security, or legal requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable legal exceptions. Your rights may vary by location. Contact us using the address below and we may need to verify the request.
9. International access and children
Our services are offered remotely and infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own. The website and visuals are intended for business and professional use and are not directed to children.
