Free on AppSource

Every Zentrix visual has a permanent free tier — no trial clock, no watermark, no sign-in. The Calendar Heatmap is free end to end. The Network Graph adds paid plans for analysis and scale, and its report readers are always free. Sankey Pro is free and fully unlocked in Power BI Desktop, and licensed per person once the report is used in the Power BI service. The two models are different on purpose; both are spelled out below.

Free, insight engine included

Free

$0

forever

The complete Calendar Heatmap, including the in-sandbox insight engine. Nothing is gated today.

  • Full-year GitHub-style calendar heatmap
  • In-sandbox insight engine — streaks, weekday rhythm, anomalies, YoY
  • Sequential & diverging palettes + conditional formatting
  • Runs entirely inside the Power BI sandbox
  • No sign-in, no trial, no watermark
  • Works in Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service

Free to start,
paid when it earns it

Everything that makes a report look good is free — every shape, palette and icon, labels, cross-filter, legends, tooltips, search. What's charged for is analysis, scale, and the things that make a report repeatable. No watermark at any tier, and the graph always renders.

Free

Free forever, no licence

500 nodes · 2,000 edges

A fully working, fully interactive network — no watermark, no trial clock, no sign-in.

  • Five layouts — force, concentric, circular, grid, tree
  • All six node shapes, all 18 palettes, the full 45-icon catalog
  • Every edge control, outer labels, category and edge legends
  • Table view — sortable node metrics, search, filter, CSV export
  • Cross-filter, multi-select, lasso, keyboard nav, high contrast
  • Top N / Bottom N filtering, node search, and export to CSV / Excel / PNG / PDF
Pro

$2.49/user/month or $24.99/user/year

2,000 nodes · 5,000 edges

The analysis maths and the production polish, on small and medium graphs.

  • Centrality — bridges (betweenness), reach (closeness), influence (PageRank)
  • The plain-English insight read-out, with clickable findings
  • Community and component colour modes
  • Rules — unlimited conditional formatting, including on computed graph metrics
  • Pin layout — freeze an arrangement into the report permanently
  • Drill-down, expand/collapse, the node detail panel, animated edge flow
Enterprise

$5.49/user/month or $54.99/user/year

Uncapped nodes and edges

Scale, heavy analysis, and the features that turn a graph into a deployed tool.

  • Clustering — Louvain communities with hulls, meta-nodes and spatial grouping
  • Path analysis and explore / ego-focus mode
  • Canvas renderer, minimap, and loading past Power BI's 30,000-row window
  • Geo layout with an embedded offline outline map
  • Time animation — a scrubbable temporal axis
  • Node annotations saved with the report

Report readers are always free

The licence applies only to the person building the report. Anyone opening a published report gets the whole visual — every feature, no cap, no sign-in, no prompt — whatever tier the author is on. You pay per report author, never per reader.

Plans are sold and billed by Microsoft through AppSource. No fabricated install counts or ratings here — we'll add real numbers once there are real numbers to add.

Free to build,
licensed to share

Power BI Desktop is free and fully unlocked — every feature, every cap lifted, no watermark, forever. You can build an entire production report without being asked for money. A licence starts when that report is used in the Power BI Service, and there everyone who opens it needs a seat, author and reader alike. Both paid plans unlock the identical feature set; they differ only in the per-seat rate.

Free

Free forever — and unlimited in Desktop

  • 35 palettes, 20 node textures, and one icon or image on every node

Enterprise (501+ users)

Uncapped nodes and flows

Exactly the same product at 501 seats and up — the identical feature set at a 25% lower per-seat rate. Not a bigger tier, a bigger band.

  • Everything in Pro, feature for feature — there is nothing extra to unlock
  • A 25% volume rate from the 501st seat
  • Sold and billed by Microsoft against your Power BI account
  • One-month free trial, run by Microsoft

Everyone who opens the report needs a seat

Sankey Pro is licensed per person in the Power BI Service — readers included, which is different from the Network Graph. Seats are assigned to named users in your Microsoft 365 admin centre, so you buy them only for the people who actually open a report containing the visual, not for everyone employed. Building in Power BI Desktop stays free and fully unlocked, plans are sold and billed by Microsoft, and Microsoft runs a one-month free trial on both of them.

Four plans,
one product

Power BI Desktop is free and fully unlocked — every feature, every indicator, no row limit, no watermark and no sign-in, forever. You can build and publish an entire production report without paying. A licence starts when that report is opened in the Power BI Service, and there everyone who opens it needs a seat, author and reader alike. All four plans unlock the identical product; they differ only in the seat band you are billed at.

Free

  • Every indicator — SMA, EMA, WMA, Bollinger bands, VWAP, RSI and MACD
  • The volume pane and the ordinal trading-days axis
  • OHLC validation with the data-quality banner
  • No watermark, no sign-in, no row limit
Team (1–25 users)

  • One month free, run by Microsoft
  • Billed by Microsoft, no separate account
Department (26–100 users)

Organization (101–250 users)

Enterprise (251+ users)

$1.99/user/month or $19.90/user/year

Everything unlocked · 25,000 rows

The lowest per-seat rate, for 251 seats and up. If you would rather not count seats at all, or you need Report Server, embedded or publish-to-web, we sell a company-wide licence directly.

  • Everything in Team, feature for feature
  • About 60% off the Team per-seat rate
  • The annual price is ten months of the monthly one

Everyone who opens the report needs a seat

The Financial Chart is licensed per person in the Power BI Service — readers included, the same model as Sankey Pro and not the creators-only one the Network Graph uses. Seats are assigned to named users in your Microsoft 365 admin centre, so you buy them only for the people who actually open a report containing the visual. Plans are sold and billed by Microsoft, which runs a one-month free trial on all four. Power BI Report Server, embedded applications and publish-to-web are not covered by any AppSource plan, because Microsoft's licensing does not operate there — those are sold directly, at support@zentrixstudio.in.

Questions about cost

Is the Calendar Heatmap really free?

Yes. Every feature is unlocked today, insight engine included — no trial period, no watermark, no sign-in, nothing capped. There is no paid plan configured for it, so there is nothing to buy. We've said from the start that a premium tier for the heatmap is possible later; if that ever happens we'll price it here first, and what you rely on today keeps working.

What does the Network Graph cost?

The free tier is permanent and covers a graph up to 500 nodes with every layout, palette, icon, label, legend, the metrics table, cross-filtering and export. Pro is $2.49 per user per month (or $24.99 a year) and adds the centrality maths, the insight read-out, conditional-formatting rules and pinned layouts. Enterprise is $5.49 per user per month (or $54.99 a year) and adds clustering, path analysis, geo layout and uncapped graph size.

What does Sankey Pro cost?

It is free and fully unlocked in Power BI Desktop — every feature, every cap lifted, no watermark, forever. You can build an entire production report without paying anything. A licence starts when that report is used in the Power BI service: $1.99 per user per month, or $19.90 a year, for 1–500 users, and $1.49 per user per month ($14.90 a year) from the 501st. There is one paid tier — both plans unlock exactly the same features and differ only in the per-seat rate. Microsoft runs a one-month free trial on both.

Do the people reading my report need a licence?

It depends on the visual, and the two we sell are deliberately different. For the Network Graph, no — the licence applies only to the person building the report, and anyone opening it gets the whole visual free. For Sankey Pro, yes — everyone who opens the report in the Power BI service needs a seat, reader included, because putting the diagram in front of an audience is the thing being sold. Seats are assigned to named users in your Microsoft 365 admin centre, so you buy them only for the people who actually open a report containing the visual — not for everyone employed. Building in Power BI Desktop is free either way.

How is the licence managed?

Through Microsoft. Paid plans are sold and billed by Microsoft AppSource against your Power BI account, so there's no separate Zentrix account, no licence key to paste, and nothing to install beyond the visual itself. Microsoft also runs a one-month free trial on every paid plan. Licences are assigned to named users in your Microsoft 365 admin centre, and the visual checks whoever is signed in.

What happens if the licence check fails?

You get the top tier. An unsupported host, publish-to-web, an embedded report, Report Server, or a signed-out or offline Power BI Desktop all resolve to full access, silently — no blocking overlay on an environment we've chosen to render in full. We treat a wrongly locked feature as worse than a missed sale, so the check fails open, always.
